Two teaching positions available with Preschool-age and Toddler-age children at Carousel Preschool Day Nursery, an NAEYC accredited early care and education program in Norwalk, CT. Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Child Studies, Child Development, or related field of study. We will accept candidates that have an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and are continuing toward their Bachelor degree in the abovementioned courses of study. Candidates must have at least 3 years of teaching experience in an early childhood classroom environment with Preschool-age and/or Toddler-age children. Candidates must have experience in NAEYC accreditation standards and criteria and developmentally appropriate practices with young children. Our program is innovative - everyone is a learner and shared decision-making is the norm.
